  • I recently used this manufactured goods with my 2-year-ancient (23 lbs) in a Britax Marathon and a 22″ involve-on roller. Overall, I am very pleased with the strap. There are some insignificant details you need to know, here are the summary:

    PRO:

    - Your small one(s) will like it, it’s a novelty stroller for them

    - Strap is simple and simple to use, it leveages(extends) the car seat’s belt system (top and two sides) to attach to your involve-on roller.

    - It works well but make sure to do a test drive at home.

    - You will get postive comments from nearly everyone you pass by. If you have superfluous straps with you, you can probably sell them on the spot. Amazon should be paying me for the upcoming business they will get from my word-of-backtalk advertisment!

CON: (not really cons but just observations)

    - Expectation on size. Not really a con but just a small let-down when you get your package. Has nothing to do with usability.

    - Price but subdue affordable. Probably cost $.50 to make so hats off for the inventor that came up with the thought

    - Roller fitting. Make sure to try it with your roller. Three points on this: 1) make sure to pack your roller full, otherwise it’s hard to “grab” the car seat; 2) make sure your roller’s handle is not a single arm , you will need an opening to thread through the top belt; 3) make sure your roller handle is long enough so you don’t have to bend down too much to pull or push the car seat/roller when emotionally caught up

Again, overall a fantastic manufactured goods. I took a star off for the price. Otherwise it’s a fantastic buy.

  • We recently used this with my 26 month ancient son on his Britax Marathon. It was so simple. With my husband’s help, we were able to attach it to the involve-on while my son remained sleeping in his seat. My son is a real busy body and despises strollers, so I worried that he would not want to sit in it during our layover after being stuck in a plane for 4 hours, but he loved it. He really couldn’t wait to sit in it and be wheeled through the airport. Once we got to our closing destination, he really threw a fit because we would not take the seat out of the car and wheel him inside the household.

  • After traveling trying to push a stroller and drag a suitcase and involve a carseat all at once, I was at my wit’s end. I nearly bought a special strolling-carseat for $200… when I found this! What a smart invention. It saved me a bundle AND makes travel simpler because I only have to push ONE item, my suitcase-stroller combo! When I need to check my carseat, I do it at the gate, just as you would a stroller. This item is brilliant and the inventor gives fantastic customer benefit as well.

  • Oh where do I start? I had the most terrible traveling experience of my life trying to use this manufactured goods. I was traveling by myself with a one year ancient from Bangkok to San Francisco, where we had to change planes in Tokyo. The one year ancient was the simple part… the hard part was getting through all of the security check points and trying to wrangle this contraption to make it work along the way. By the time I got on the first plane I was in tears.

First you have to lay your bag our on the impose a curfew to attach the seat. Then the toddler can’t really be sitting in the seat when you attach it because you need to get behind the padding and everything to handbook the straps through. So you are wrestling with your roller bag on the impose a curfew while the toddler is well, toddling all over the place.

Then you get to security and have to take everything apart and do it all again…. While your toddler is roaming free, willy-nilly and everyone is looking on in disbelief at this ridiculous system you are struggling with. Next you will be lucky if you can get the bag and the car seat down the aisle of the airplane… if you can’t what are you supposed to do with a 20 pound kid, a 20 pound seat, a roller bag, and the diaper bag…. more crying…

Then when you land you have to take your toddler out of the seat again and try to wrestle the whole contraption back together on the floor of the plane. Luckily we were in the bulkhead, otherwise there is no way on this green earth that you would have enough space anywhere to do this. Don’t forget that the toddler has wandered off while you are trying to accomplish this feat. Not only that, but to preclude my daughter from wandering off while I was making a fool of myself with this thing I place her in a plane seat. Next thing I knew she had done a face plant on the floor and had a bloody nose, all while I was trying to use this horrible system.

Then you get off the plane, go to the next security checkpoint and do it all again. By the time I really got off the plane (last one off every time) in San Francisco I was truly living every parents’ nightmare of traveling lonely with a kid. All the while my actual kid was fantastic, but this thing really REALLY only works in theory.

It also doesn’t hold things together very securely. I, like other reviewers was worried about that too.

Once I got to the hotel I wanted to have a ceremonial burning of the wretched device…. instead I “accidentally” left it under the bed. Holiday Inn near Fisherman’s Wharf for those of you who thought this system worked out so excellent.

  • I was quite skeptical when this small strap arrived in the mail because it looked so simple. But it worked very well and was a real life-investor. It was affordable and simple to use. I recently traveled lonely with my 13-month ancient and didn’t want to bring my stroller. I simply used the Traveling Toddler to attach our Britax Marathon car seat to my involve-on suitcase. It allowed me to “wheel” my son through the airport by myself, while carrying all of the stuff I needed to involve. I had a backpack as a diaper bag, and I was excellent to go! So simple I even had a hand free. I couldn’t believe it. A flight attendant helped with the seat once I was on the plane. The only drawback was going through security and having to un-do and then re-do everything. But once you have the straps adjusted to the right tightness, it’s simple to place back on without having to readjust the straps.
